Who can take part - You must have an Axra account in good standing. - To **earn cash rewards**, your account must have completed at least **basic identity verification (KYC)**. You can still share your code before then, but cash rewards accrue only once you are verified. - A person you refer (a "**referred friend**") must be a new Axra user who did not already have an account, who signs up using your referral code, and who completes their own identity verification. - Self-referrals are not permitted. You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot earn rewards on accounts that you control or that share your identity, device, or payment instruments. ## 2. How you earn There are three, independent rewards. Unless stated otherwise, all rewards are paid to **you**, the referrer. | Reward | Amount | Trigger | | -------------------- | ------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Signup points | 10 points | The moment a referred friend signs up with your code | | First-transfer bonus | US$1.00 | When that friend completes their **first qualifying transfer** | | Cashback | 0.1% of qualifying sends | On that friend's qualifying sends during their **first 30 days**, up to **US$1,000 per friend** | There is **no limit** on the number of friends you may refer. ## 3. Points are status only Points are a **gamification score** used for the referral leaderboard. Points have **no cash value**, are **not redeemable** for money, goods, or services, and cannot be transferred. We may adjust how points are calculated or displayed at any time. ## 4. Qualifying transactions (the cash rewards) The **$1 bonus** and **cashback** are earned only on a referred friend's **qualifying transfers**. A qualifying transfer is an **outbound external payout** sent from a **USD, EUR, or GBP** balance to an external destination (a bank account or crypto wallet) through Axra's supported payout rails. The following are **not** qualifying transactions and never earn rewards: - Local-currency (e.g. NGN) payouts sent from a local-currency wallet. - Bill payments, airtime, or similar purchases. - Transfers between Axra users (peer-to-peer). - Moving money between a user's own balances (currency conversions / internal transfers). - Deposits, or any inbound funds. ### Cashback specifics - Cashback runs for **30 days** from the date the referred friend joins. - The referred friend's **first qualifying transfer** earns the **$1 bonus** and does **not** also earn cashback. Cashback begins from their **second** qualifying transfer onward, to avoid rewarding the same transfer twice. - Cashback is **capped at US$1,000 per referred friend**. Because there is no cap on the number of friends, your overall total is not capped by this per-friend limit. ## 5. When and how rewards are paid - Cash rewards (bonus and cashback) **accrue as pending** as they are earned and are **settled once per month**. At settlement, matured rewards are released to your Axra **USD balance**. - Rewards are subject to a short **maturity/hold period** (at least 30 days from when the reward was earned) before they are eligible for settlement. This protects the Program against reversed, fraudulent, or charged-back activity. - Rewards tied to a transaction that is later **reversed, refunded, disputed, or found to be fraudulent** will be cancelled and, if already paid, may be reclaimed. ## 6. Fair use and anti-abuse The Program is for genuine referrals of real people. We may **withhold, cancel, reverse, or reclaim** rewards, and may **suspend or remove** a participant from the Program, where we reasonably believe there has been: - self-referral, fake, duplicate, or automated accounts; - collusion, circular referrals, or artificial transactions created mainly to generate rewards; - any breach of these Program Terms, the Terms of Service, or applicable law; or - activity that fails our fraud, sanctions, or compliance checks. Rewards that are flagged may be held for **manual review** before any payout. ## 7. Changes, suspension, and termination We may **change, suspend, or end** the Program, or amend these Program Terms — including reward amounts, rates, windows, caps, and eligibility — **at any time**. The **in-app Invite & Earn screen shows the current values** and prevails over any older marketing material. Material changes take effect when posted. Continuing to participate after a change means you accept it. ## 8. General - Rewards have **no cash alternative** other than as described (credit to your USD balance) and cannot be exchanged for anything else. - You are responsible for any **taxes** arising from rewards you receive. - The Program is **void where prohibited** and is not available where it would breach applicable law or sanctions. - These Program Terms are governed by the same law and dispute-resolution terms as Axra's [Terms of Service](/legal/terms). ## 9.
